This vertical band sealer flushes each pouch with nitrogen just before heat-sealing — displacing the air inside so snacks, namkeen, dry fruits, coffee and spices stay fresh longer. It is listed at Rs 37,700 ex-works.

The machine runs pouches upright through a continuous sealing band: the pouch mouth passes a nitrogen nozzle, the gas displaces the air, and heated jaws close the seal in one pass. The vertical configuration suits stand-up pouches and bags that must stay upright while sealing. The body is mild steel (MS), painted; the unit stands on a height-adjustable frame with a digital temperature controller, emergency stop and belt conveyor (as shown in the reference photo).

Key features:

  • Nitrogen flushing: inert gas displaces air from the pouch just before the seal — the standard way to extend shelf life of dry snacks without vacuum packing
  • Vertical configuration: seals stand-up pouches and upright bags on a belt conveyor
  • Continuous band sealing: pouches feed continuously — no per-pouch dwell time as with impulse sealers
  • MS body: mild-steel painted construction keeps the price down; an SS-body variant exists at the dealer (ask for a quote)
  • Digital temperature control with emergency stop (photo-observed)

Typical applications: namkeen and snacks; dry fruits and nuts; coffee and tea; spices; bakery products; dry foods and any laminated pouch where trapped air shortens shelf life.
